(E) Removal of the ovary and fallopian tube.
(C) Salpingectomy: Removal of the fallopian tube. It can be unilateral or bilateral. It can be performed simultaneously with a hysterectomy or as a single procedure, e.g., during an ectopic pregnancy.
(D) Oophorectomy: Removal of the ovary. It can be unilateral or bilateral. If both ovaries are removed, menopause occurs immediately. It can be combined with a hysterectomy or performed independently in cases of pathology affecting only the ovaries.
